Some Words from Those Who've Worked With Me.
I had the pleasure of working with Avery during my summer internship at Dolby, where he was my mentor and manager. Working with him was seamless, as he was always approachable and willing to help, even with his busy schedule. Avery consistently made time to resolve any issues together or promptly connected me with someone else when needed. Beyond work, he also shared great recommendations for restaurants and weekend hikes.

Working with Avery was an incredible experience! As an intern on the acoustic
mapping team at Dolby under his guidance, I had the privilege of collaborating on cutting-edge research focused on spatial audio localization and machine learning. Avery not only gave me ample opportunities to learn and grow but also exhibited exceptional mentorship throughout our project.
Avery's expertise in acoustics, coupled with his talent for simplifying complex concepts with examples, made it easy
for me to dive into a field I wasn't initially familiar with. Throughout the project, Avery maintained a clear vision and
exceptional communication skills, which greatly contributed to the success of my internship. He consistently approached his
work with enthusiasm, organization, and a strong sense of responsibility. While encouraging me to think creatively during my independent research, Avery also ensured that everything stayed on track. He regularly provided chances for me to showcase my work to colleagues and offered prompt, insightful feedback. Whenever I encountered difficulties, he never hesitated to prioritize my needs and worked with me to find solutions.
I'm genuinely grateful for the patient guidance, mentorship, and support I received from Avery. I look forward to working with him again in the future!

Avery is one of, if not the best hire I ever made. He is diligent, enthusiastic, hard working and knowledgeable. But we expect that at Creative- beyond that Avery is my go to guy when I need to get something done. R&D work always brings challenges and setbacks, but Avery always finds a way to get the job done and doesn't let himself get blocked despite sometimes substantial challenges. Avery 's used his audio and DSP skills to make a significant contribution to Creative products- we are sorry that he is leaving Creative to pursue other opportunities.

Working with Avery was a joy! He was always on time and motivated to work hard during our sessions. The edits I was asking for from him were incredibly complex. His long years of work with music made it so easy to explain to him where I wanted the cut and, if there was a tough edit, what the music should sound like. Thanks, Avery, for helping to make Japonica a success!

Avery's Role: Edits for a recording project
Avery was a joy to work with. He worked on so many projects that were beyond his years (but not abilities). He figured out and implemented our first audiovisual production for a live event that celebrated a Jewish Habbad Celebration. This event had cued music, presentations and lighting. He put an audiovisual cart for production together by himself and figured out what was needed. Along with myself he met with the client to determine needs of the event and we planned the needed equipment. In addition he scripted, developed and recorded several training videos for our event service staff to use when planning events. These were all special projects that were in addition to scheduling events, greeting clients in the building and setting up for events and testing equipment. We have 3 separate areas of our organization and he was a member of 2 and worked in all three depending on the day. He is greatly missed and I would work with him again if I had the opportunity.
